Local History walk of Pentrellwyn and Gorrig Road with Llandysul Local History Society

Saturday 3rd June, 2pm.

Meet at Llandysul Car Park (or you can join us at the entrance to Gorrig Road at about 2.20pm for an easier walk) and proceeding uphill to the Gorrig fork, along to Gorrig crossroads, then doubling back to take the track to Pantolwen Mill returning via Abercerdin Mill.  
About 3 hours, ending at the Porth Hotel.
No Dogs.  Adults £2 . Children under 16 are free.

Other walks:

Saturday 22nd July, 10am. The walk will be 3.5 miles Pencader - Bwlch-y-ffin - Banc Scythlyn, first part on footpaths then along quite roads. There are some steep slopes so may take about 2 hours but good views.

Friday 4th August, 5pm from Llandysul Bridge to Pencoedfoel - The highest mountain in Llandysul! 

A chance to climb to the summit and stand within the Iron Age Enclosure of Pencoedfoel.

A circular walk with a hill climb of approx 4 miles. Passing the Medieval Fortified Ringwork of Castell Gwynionydd...via Coedfoel Wood...up to summit of Pencoedfoel. Take in the spectacular views of Llandysul , before descending to the Prengwyn Road and returning for refreshments courtesy of Llandysul Paddlers.
